Returns & Refunds Policy

At Fairy Floss, we want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we are happy to assist with returns, exchanges, or refunds, subject to the conditions below.

Returns

We offer a 30-day return period from the date you receive your order.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Returned within 30 days of receiving your order
  • Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
  • In their original condition with all tags attached
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

We recommend trying on your garments as soon as they arrive to ensure they can be returned within the return period if necessary.

Before sending any item back, please email us at magic@fairyflossbyronbay.com with your order details and reason for return. Returns sent without prior contact may not be accepted.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, colour, or style, please contact us before returning the item so we can confirm availability and hold the replacement item if it is in stock.
For Australian exchanges, please include a prepaid return satchel inside your parcel. For international customers, please contact us to discuss return shipping arrangements.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the transaction.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Alternatively, you may choose to receive a store credit.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us as soon as possible at magic@fairyflossbyronbay.com with a description and photographs of the issue.
Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will meet our obligations under Australian Consumer Law, which may include repair, replacement, store credit, or refund.
Please note that Fairy Floss is not responsible for damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper washing, shrinkage, accidental damage, or fading caused by sun exposure.

Shipping Costs

Unless required under Australian Consumer Law, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
For your protection, we strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of postage until your return has been processed. Fairy Floss cannot be held responsible for returns lost in transit.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Sale or clearance items
  • Gift cards
  • Custom-made or personalised items

If you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact us before sending it back.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of issue and can only be redeemed through our website. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Processing Time

Please allow 2–3 business days for your return, exchange, or refund to be processed once it has been received by us.
